COVID-19’s Inter-Agency Task Force is reviewing the recommendations from the private sector to increase vaccination rates.

Vaccine czar Carlito Galvez had a meeting with President Rodrigo Duterte and proposed the following suggestions:

  1. Mandatory vaccinations for unrestricted access to public transport, travel, restaurants, and tourism establishments.
  2.  Mandatory vaccines for healthcare workers, school employees, public transport workers, civil servants, and for 4Ps
  3. Allow companies right not to hire unvaccinated applicants
  4. Require RT-PCR tests for unvaccinated existing employees at their own expense

In line with this, IATF is analyzing the unified vaccines, test, and contract tracing data ecosystem suggestions.
