Mayor Sara Duterte pushed Bongbong to run – Imee Marcos

According to Senator Imee Marcos, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte was the one who encouraged his brother former senator Bongbong Marcos to run for the presidency.

Magka-tandem,” Imee said in an interview on ABS-CBN.

“Di namin akalain na hindi pipila. Iyung medyo sidelined talaga lahat. So medyo hilo kami, we’re really not ready, but Mayor Sara said she’s not proceeding,” she added.

Former Senator Bongbong Marcos filled his certificate of candidacy on October 6.
