PAL announces 8 ‘bayanihan flights’ from Dubai to Manila


The Philippine Airline (PAL) announced eight ‘bayanihan flights’ from Dubai to Cebu to Manila. 

In a press release shared with The Global Filipino Magazine by a PAL sales team member, the following November flights will be considered as the airline’s ‘bayanihan flights’ which promised cheaper airline tickets: November 19, 20, 21, 22, 25, 27, 28, and 29

Below are the requirements: 

1. All passengers MUST PRESENT A NEGATIVE RT-PCR TEST RESULT taken within seventy-two (72) hours prior to boarding the aircraft. 72 hours shall be counted from the time of specimen collection and not from the release of the RT-PCR test result. It is recommended to do the test a day before the flight.

2. Only Filipino passport holders will be allowed to board the flight.

3. Each passenger must follow the mandatory use of FACE MASK & FACE SHIELD at the airport and on- board the aircraft.

4. All passengers must register on the link: 

Testing and quarantine protocols for fully vaccinated travelers: 

Filipinos arriving from abroad should: 

> Present a negative RT-PCR test taken within 72 Hours prior to departure from the country of origin.

> Facility-based quarantine will no longer be required upon arrival. 

> Self-monitor for any symptoms until the 14th day, with the first day being the arrival date.

Testing and quarantine protocols for vaccinated, independently unvalidated vaccination status, vaccinated but failed to comply test-before-travel travelers: 

> Facility-based quarantine until the release of a negative RT-PCR test taken on the 5th day.

> Self-monitor until the 14th day of arrival, with the date of arrival being the first day. 

> Foreign Nationals shall be required to secure hotel reservations for at least 6 days.
