DFA repatriates 240 OFWs from Kuwait

About 240 overseas Filipino workers were repatriated from Kuwait this week, according to the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs.

The Filipino repatriates came on Kuwait Airways flight KU 417, t The plane touched down at Terminal 1 of Ninoy Aquino International Airport shortly after 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Officials stated the distressed OFWs will be subjected to health and medical measures in accordance with the government’s pandemic task force’s most recent resolution.

The flight was organized in collaboration with multiple agencies, although it did not specify what led the migrant workers to return home.
