UAE has recently achieved a new milestone, this time it administered at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine to 100 percent of all eligible residents. This was achieved last Friday, November 26.
Following the milestone, a top official clarified that this does not mean that all residents have been vaccinated. This only means that most of the target groups are now protected against Covid-19.
Dr. Farida Al Hosani, spokesperson of the health sector in the UAE, through a special media briefing, said that the UAE population keeps changing with new work visa holders arriving on a daily basis.
Despite the repetitive calls, several students are yet to receive the vaccine.
