Emirates Global Motor Electric, part of Al Fahim Group, Hitachi Energy, and Yinlong Energy are conducting a trial run with two zero-emission electric buses as part of the ‘Made in UAE’ 100% electric bus initiative.
They can travel 95 kilometers on a single charge. At bus stops, the electric buses will have the world’s fastest flash charging facility, which will take less than 10 seconds.
Hany Tawfik, CEO of Emirates Global Motor Electric and Emirates Global Industries, stated that electric buses will be on the road by the end of 2022.
