The Philippine Airline (PAL) announced another flight schedule change this month.
According to a press release shared by Mr. Geoffrey Salatan, a seasoned travel manager, the change in flight schedule was due to the shortage of quarantine facilities in the Philippines.
PAL’s PR658/659 24 December 2021 has been rescheduled to P658/659 23 December 2021.
Passengers are reminded to present a negative RT-PCR test result taken 72 hours prior to boarding the aircraft.
“72 hours shall be counted from the time of specimen collection and not from the release of the RT-PCR test result,” PAL said in the press release.
Passengers are also reminded to follow the mandatory use of face masks and face shields at the airport and on-board the aircraft.
They are also mandated to register on www.onehealthpass.con.ph/e-HDC/.
Non-OFWs are told to a confirmed booking, including transportation arrangements, at a hotel accredited by Tourism and Health Agencies for at least eight days depending on the release of the RT-PCR test result.
“You will not be able to board the flight if you miss to present a confirmed booking upon check-in,” it added.

It was earlier reported that hundreds of OFWs are currently stranded at the Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 1.
