Philippines removes UAE from ‘Green’ list countries in new advisory

In the new resolution issued by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) on Friday, January 14, the UAE has been removed from the ‘Green’ list. 

In Resolution No. 157-B signed on January 13, 2022, the UAE cannot be seen anymore on the Philippines’ ‘Green’ list countries. 

According to IATF-EID, all other countries, territories, jurisdictions not listed above are considered to be on the ‘Yellow’ list. 

Under the ‘Yellow’ countries are those classified by the IATF as ‘moderate risk’. 

Vaccinated passengers from the ‘Yellow’ countries need to produce a negative PCR test result taken within 48 hours prior to departure and a facility-based quarantine until the release of negative results.

They will also undergo another swab test on the fifth day and a home quarantine until 14th day from the arrival date.
