A Dubai-based Filipino who is currently spending her vacation in the Philippines has become a multi-millionaire today after winning $1 million in the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire promotion.
Cherie Love M. Videna’s winning number was no. 3866. Her name was announced earlier this morning in Concourse C, Dubai International Airport.
An airport worker, Videna has just celebrated her 41st birthday two days ago. She purchased her lucky ticket with 11 of her colleagues.
“It couldn’t have been a better holiday for me to hear the news of my win! We all are very excited and my colleagues and I can’t wait to meet up with the Dubai Duty Free team,” she said in a statement.
She becomes the 13th Filipino national to win the million-dollar prize since the start of the draw in 1999.
