First case of monkeypox in UAE reported

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has verified the finding of the first case of monkeypox in the UAE.

The first case was discovered in a 29-year-old woman who arrived from West Africa, according to the ministry, who added that she is receiving the proper medical attention.
