In an effort to provide high-quality health care services, prevent diseases, and improve the quality of life of patients in Dubai, Mr. Gabriel John Rimando, the brainchild of the Filipino Institute, is all set to launch Caredant.
The home health care centre will be inaugurated on July 7 at the 504, Al Zarooni Building, Al Rigga, Dubai.
“Our goal here is to focus on improving health care quality and making sure all people get the health care services they need. Caredant will foster excellent health professionals who lead into the future,” he said.
He added that the establishment of the home health care centre was made ‘to give back’ to the community.
“After the 2020 pandemic, the decision was made to meet the healthcare needs of the community, especially the vulnerable people,” Mr. Rimando said.
Strictly complying with the guidelines set by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Caredant will also be guided by the following values: integrity, excellence, teamwork, respect, compassion, and diversity.
Its services include round-the-clock nursing services, including on weekends and holidays; regular nursing assessments and follow-up care plans; assistance with activities of daily living; child care services; mother and newborn care; geriatric care; caregiving; clinical nursing care; IV therapy; wound care; and post-operative care, among others.
Mr. Rimando said that students taking medical-related courses at the Filipino Institute may spend their internship at the home health care centre soon.
