POLO Dubai: We do not require payment for online appointment system

-

The Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in Dubai has reminded the public that securing an appointment on their online appointment system does not involve any fees.

“Payment for contract verification is only collected by our cashier and only cash payment is accepted. An official receipt is given for each official transaction,” a June 28, 2022, advisory posted on their website.

“In no instance will our officers and/or personnel require payment through online banking/transfers; nor will collect fees/payments for the use of the online appoint system,” it added.

It urged the public to report to POLO any individuals taking advantage and demanding payment in exchange for an alleged appointment for their services, including for contract verification and OWWA membership at POLO Dubai.

“These individuals are not recognized by POLO Dubai, and the appointments they provide are fake,” POLO Dubai said.
