OFWs with confirmed flights from July 8 to 12 may process documents at POLO Dubai on July 7

-

The Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in Dubai announced that those OFWs who have flights from July 8 to July 12, 2022, may have their documents processed on July 7, 2022.

In an advisory posted on its website, it announced that it will close from July 8 to 11, 2022, due to Eid Al Adha in observance of Eid Al Adha. Regular operations will resume on July 12, 2022.

“Clients may avail of Contract Verification, OWWA Membership, SS, and Pag-IBIG services at POLO Dubai, while OEC may only be availed in the Philippines,” the advisory added.

POLO Dubai has also advised OFWs not to line up in the evening of July 6 or early in the morning on July 7.

OFWs who were not able to secure a verified contract prior to their vacation in the Philippines may avail the POEA Memorandum Circular No. 23, s 2021. Under this memorandum, returning OFWs may secure an OEC by submitting an undertaking to comply with the POLO verified contract requirement once they return to the UAE.
