Vivamax and Darryl Yap’s film Maid in Malacanang notched a massive opening day on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, by bringing in P21 million.

In a Facebook post, Viva Films revealed that it racked P21 million on the opening day.

Nearly 200 cinemas in the Philippines screened the controversial film about the last 72 hours of the Marcoses in Malacanang as narrated by ‘a very reliable source.’

Maid in Malacanang will be screened in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain starting August 19, 2022.

Senator Imee Marcos, Cristine Reyes, and Darryl are also scheduled to visit Dubai this month to meet supporters.
