A Jordanian expatriate who has been living in Dubai for the past 20 years is the first Big Ticket lucky winner to take home the gold prize during the first weekly e-draw this month.
According to Gulf News, Azar has been purchasing raffle tickets on his own for several years.
When he was informed about his winnings, he was overjoyed as after many years of trying, he finally received a phone call informing him that he won a kilo of gold.
Azar said he will keep his winnings as savings and plans to continue purchasing Big Ticket raffle tickets.
A total of four weekly e-draw winners were announced to win AED300,000 throughout the month of September.
