The prequel to the controversial film ‘Maid in Malacanang’ by filmmaker Darryl Yap, ‘Martyr of Murderer,’ will be shown in theatres worldwide starting March 1, 2023.
Produced by Viva Films and VinCentiments, the film follows the life and death of former president Benigno Aquino, a political figure from the opposition during the old Marcos era.
In one of his interviews in the Philippines during a press conference, Darryl said the story also revolves around ‘the heaviest accusation’ thrown against the Marcos family.
